One more nap!

So it was dinner time and I started eating and then got really tired from my big day so I decided to take a little snooze. Of course when I woke up I went right back to eating. I can never skip a meal or snack - I am a hungry growing boy!

Wow, did we play hard this weekend! Daddy went biking with his team on his new bike and I was non-stop playing. I went to the park and met a new friend. We went down the slide and walked all over the place! After all that exercise, Daddy and me both needed a nap!

I am a big boy now that I am 1 years old and when mommy and daddy sit in their chairs, I can sit in mine all by myself!

I love Mountain Dew!

There is nothing like a Mountain Dew to wash down my dinner with - just like my daddy! Yummy...

More Toys!

I got another very cool toy this weekend from my Bestefar. He came to visit us and be a tourist in DC for a couple of days. This toy makes noise and plays music and shoots balls into the air. I can't get enough of this thing! I especially love watching my mom and dad chase the balls around the house!

Daddy sold one of his toys (his bicycle) and asked me to hold on to all these green pieces of paper for him until he finds a new bike to buy. I'm not sure what these pieces of paper with old guys on them are for, but daddy said make sure mom doesn't get any of them and go visit someone called "Ann Taylor."

All this for me? I am getting really good at this present opening thing because I had practice at Christmas time. I got lots of neat stuff for my birthday; lots of toys, clothes, and books! I am going to be really busy for awhile.

Happy 1st Birthday to Me!

A year ago today I was born! I can't believe how fast a year has gone by. I got to celebrate in style with my cool hat and bib. I had lots of guests and got some really neat presents!

So this was my first cake ever so I wasn't too sure about it. Everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to me so I felt special.

Then after I tasted what that cake was all about I really liked it! I liked it so much it was all over my face, hands, and clothes!  

I really am back this time!

So...last Thursday night I thought I was finally feeling better, but I woke up early the next morning feeling worse! So we went back to the doctor and from there we went to the hospital! I was in the emergency room with lots of other babies like me - feeling very yucky. Well after waiting a very long time I finally got checked out. The doctors poked me again and again and I was really scared. We ended up staying over night, but the nurses were really nice and my mommy held me all night long so I made it through. I am finally feeling better and up to all my tricks. I love going though the kitchen cabinets - you never know what you might find!!! 

I'm Back!

I have not been feeling good the past couple of days. In fact, I have been pretty sick. I am doing better now. I had some of my daddy's chicken noodle soup tonight, and it was good. Hopefully I will get my appetite back, because I like to have my belly full!

You may have noticed that the updates have not been coming like usual. We have experienced some equipment troubles the past couple of weeks, but I am also back in the sense that we finally got a replacement camera. Now we can get back to taking lots of pictures of me! It is too bad the other one went missing because I really liked that one, but this one will work too.
