Greetings to all my visitors! My name is Colin Griffin, and this is my story. Here is where I tell all my fans what new things I am up to as I get older and bigger. Check back often for many more stories and pictures.
I've got the suit, I've got the car, and I've got the look. All I need is some practice! Whoops, crashed into a tree!
Back when I was at the cabin, I got to try out fishing for the first time. Check me out with Grandpa as we work hard at things with my new fishing pole and cool "grandpa's fishing buddy" hat.

Mommy and I went to go see Emily's new baby Trace. I was very excited to see him and he was really neat, but when my mommy wanted to hold him I wasn't too happy. I think I get a bit jealous when I am not getting all the attention.
Andrew was a lot of fun because he liked to dress up. He had a really neat Spiderman suit. He also had the coolest toys I have ever seen!
We went to the new Georgia Aquarium and wow was it neat! Look at all those fishies and we saw sharks and whales and turtles! Here is me and Andrew checking out the huge tank!
I took a trip to Atlanta this weekend and had lots of fun and saw lots of people. I stayed with the Rileys. Here is Andrew Riley and me playing video games together. I am catching on to them really fast and the racing one with the wheel was my favorite, I wonder why?
Mommy and I are eating at her favorite place that we don't have in DC - Chick-Fil-A! I can see why, it was yummy and they have a great place for me to play!
One of the really great things we did during the trip to Wisconsin was tour the Leinenkugel Brewery. It was really fun to see how they make the stuff that daddy likes to drink. They have this new flavor called "Sunset Wheat" that daddy says is now in his Top 5. I just liked watching all the big vats and tubes and stuff.
The warehouse was crazy - all those cases of beer stacked to the roof, waiting to be shipped out to all sorts of thirsty people. I wanted to run around and play in the maze of stacks, but no one else thought that was a good idea.
When I first got to the cabin, I was amazed how awesome it was there. It was so quiet and peaceful; much different that the big city life I was used to back home.
I am back from my 2 week vacation and catching up on my current events in the paper. I went so many places. saw so many people, and did so many things on my trip that I can't wait to tell you. I just need a day to relax and unwind - it's good to be home:)
today was my last day of school! I like school and have lots of fun there, but I am just taking a break and so is my mommy! We are going to stay home and do stuff together everyday. We are also going to take trips and visit lots of people that we don't see very often. I can't wait!
From the minute I get up in the morning until I go to sleep at night I talk on the phone. Most kids my age like a blanket, stuffed animal, or toy, but all I want is my phone. Sometimes I carry two, one phone for each ear!
We went to a neat pool with all kinds of slides and fountains for kids. I ran around and splashed and played, but I was a little too small for the slides, maybe next year:)
Danny and I ran over the firetruckand we couldn't stop gliggling. We were being really silly, but boy did we have a good time. I can't wait to see Danny again, he is really cool!
We went to North Avenue Beach and so did everyone else from the looks of it. I have never seen so many people at a beach before trying to keep cool. We did keep cool while walking along the Lake Shore Path and I saw people swimming, playing volleyball, running, biking, rollerblading. Can you see me in the blue hat?
I went to Chicago last weekend and I got to see my friend Danny. I got to play with all his toys and chase him around his house. My favorite toy was his blow up firetruck. Danny would drive and I would sit in the back. Here we are eating our lunch together at our own table as the doggys patiently wait for us to miss our mouths.
I really did have a great time playing in the fountain, as you can see for yourself! | |
I used to push this car before I could walk really good, but now I don't need it anymore for that. I sit and ride it around now! I can go forwards and backwards and turn and honk my horn if anyone gets in the way!
I went to the 4th of July Parade here in our Capitol Hill neighborhood and wow was it neat with all the music, cars, and people dressed up waving their flags. I had a great view on the street!
Well at least that is what my shirt said! My mom thought that was pretty funny... Candy and beads were thrown from the floats and I colllected all of them that I could! Don't I look cool?
I used to sit on my mommy's lap when I went down the slide, but this weekend I started going all by myself! We even raced each other down the slide. I had so much fun she had to drag me away from the park today.
