Guy talk

Here is me and my daddy having some serious talks on the front porch about "stuff" on a nice warm night in DC. What is unusual about this pic is that my dad has his shirt on. Normally he is just hanging out in his short too, much to the chagrin of our neighbors I imagine. At any rate, it is fun sitting out there watching the neighborhood and talking about stuff.

Party time!

I went to a party Saturday night and met a cute older baby over at the cooler. There were lots of little people there so I had a great time playing!

One of mommy and daddy's friends from hotlanta came to see me. Her name is Jan and we had a great time playing and she taught me a new song!

I love to eat!

So I was feeling much better today and wow was I hungry! I even asked for a second helping a dinner!

I love my feet!

Well I had my 6 month checkup yesturday and the doctor said I am great, but then the lady with the shots came. So...I haven't been feeling like myself since and my mom even had to pick me up from school a little early today to give me some extra hugs and kisses. Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow!.

Fun Stuff At The Park

When I went to the park this past weekend, there was a lot going on. Lots of people out on a really nice day: people exercising and playing, hanging out, reading, taking naps. It was great. I did a little exploring off my blanket, and had my first encounter with grass. I took a close look 'cause it is pretty interesting!

We also went to the Eastern Market where they have all sorts of fresh food things. My mom was eating something, and it looked pretty cool so I grabbed it myself. She let me try it out and I chowed down on it! Now I have learned that apples are pretty tasty!

It's my half birthday!

I''m 6 months old today! I am a big boy and I am starting to do lots of new things!

The first big boy thing I did was eat cereal! Yummy! It was tasty and fun all at the same time. My daddy thinks I got more of it on my face then in my mouth, but I will get the hang of it soon.

It was a busy weekend with my babysitters.

I had so much fun with Grandma and Grandpa and they even brought me a new toy that makes lots of noise! It is a steering wheel that lights up and beeps and all sorts of stuff. It plays a little 10 sec. song over and over everytime you push a button or move the wheel, and I just can't get enough of it! Maybe this is the thing that start me on my way to being a Formula One driver?

As usual, I got to hear all kinds of funny stories about my parents when they were out at their friends' wedding reception. :)

Another exciting weekend!

I had such a fun weekend with my grandparents. They came to baby-sit me so my Mommy and Daddy could go to their friends' wedding. They said they had a great time because it was the first time they went out without me and they knew I was in good hands back at home!

Yeah, it's Friday and I am so excited becuase my grandparents are coming all the way from Georgia to see me!
