Super Bowl Sunday

I practiced cheering at a basketball game a couple weeks ago for today's big game! We also went shopping for our snicky snacks to eat while we watch - I can't wait.. We also all got our haircuts at Cartoon Cuts this weekend - I watched Thomas the Train and then when mommy got hers we watched Sccoby Doo! - the Griffin family is looking good!

Movie Time

I am not sure if I told you, but I really like watching movies. My favorite movie is Star Wars. Kari made me popcorn and we all watched it together. My cousins are so good to me! Although after the 6th Star Wars movie they were ready for Sponge Bob, Shrek, Toy Story, or anything but!

Cheerleaders!!!

I wasn't so sure about all those cheerleaders at first..what was I thinking? Look at my cousin Kari - she is a Mattoon Wildcat cheerleader! I got to see my first basketball game ever and see Kari cheer them on - it was so exciting.

Fun with Cathy

Cathy came to visit me last weekend too! She got me a bob cat and also some dinosaurs! I have been studying them at school, but have some trouble remembering all their names.

We played with toys, watched movies, and danced!

Rough Weekend

I went away for MLK weekend to Mattoon and I sure did get tossed around alot. My mommy said we were getting away to relax? First by my cousins Kari and Kirsti which I expected, but then..
by Uncle Scott? It just takes him by himself to get me up in the air.. What do they think I am a sack of potatoes?

Padraig's Birthday Party

Lots of my friends are turning 3 so I have been going to lots of birthday partys. Everyone is having their parties at Gymboree and it sure it is fun! We get to play games and sing songs and run around and play with all my friends.

Snow!

So what was the best part of going to Wisconsin for Christmas? All the snow! I made a snowman for the very first time and I went sledding down a big hill at Aunt Cora and Uncle Jim's house! I got to wear boots and snow pants for the first time and that felt funny!

Grandma got me and my cousin matching PJ's! We are going to make a great team once Russell can hold his head up!

Happy New Year

Happy 2008! Do you like the hat I made? I wanted to ring in the new year, but I couldn't hang on that long. But of course I did manage to wake up bright and early this morning to enjoy the new year:)

Need good legal advice

If you are in Iowa City or the area, and need a good lawyer, I would recommend checking out Mark Thompson, Iowa City Attorney at Law. He is a Luther College grad like my parents, and was a cross country runner too (I think he was faster than my daddy). He handles all sorts of law issues, like criminals and DUI and stuff.

What did I get from Santa?

I bet you are all wondering what Santa brought me? A Bob the Builder Tool Bench! Now I fit in with all the boys! I can build stuff and fix things just like Grandpa, Daddy, and Uncle Jim! Stay tuned for my next big project - "Can we build it?, yes we can!"

Santa Claus!

Santa Claus came and brought me a sled and some toys! He knew my name and told me I had been a good boy...wow I guess he does know?

How did Santa know that I would be in Wisconsin visiting my new baby cousin Russell? He brought Russell some neat toys and of course I helped him open them.

Cool Guy

My wish finally came true. On Sunday I got to wear my PJ's ALL day. Everyday I ask and everyday they come off and I have to wear clothes. Sunday it was windy, cold, and rainy, and mommy wasn't feeling good so we stayed in our PJ's, watched movies, and just hung around all day. It was great! Do you like my new sunglasses? I got the from my friend Madison. I went to her birthday party on Saturday and got lots of neat stuff!

Cleaning up the leaves

All of the trees dumped their leaves and I got to help clean them up, but of course I also had fun playing in them!

A visit from Bestefar!

Bestefar is here visiting us on this cold weekend in DC. He came to do some sightseeing and see what I am up to. He watched some of my favorie movies: Cars and The Incredibles for the first time. I also showed him all my cars, trucks, and legos.

I have a new cousin!

I found out today I have a new cousin, and he is a little boy like me! His name is RJ, and he is going to be fun to play with when we get older. The only RJ I know right now is the raccoon from the movie "Over the Hedge" so I can't wait to see this guy in person in a few weeks!

Thanksgiving Weekend

Thanksgiving Day was warm and sunny so we had to go outside to play! The leaves were everywhere so I had to jump and play in them.






I wasn't feeling the best so I decided just to take a nice walk instead of my usual run around the park.

That's right, ME! I had fun telling my cousins what to do..

Dancing

So what is a trip to Aunt Sonja's house without some dancing! Of course I always learn some new moves from Kari the dancer and Kirsti the cheerleader. I even got to see Kirsti compete in a competition - she was good! Kari showed me her new moves from her latest dance she has been practicing - wow!

Watch out Kirsti I have been practicing! Kirsti and I got up the earliest so got a head start in the morning and played some games. Her favorite is Happy Feet. I have never played, but I liked watching the penguins dance around. We have the same kind of PJ"s on!!

Weekend in Mattoon

This weekend I went to visit Aunt Sonja, Uncle Scott, Kari, and Kirsti. We had so much fun - I can't wait to show you what we did besides play with all their neat toys!

I also had some time to get Bob and his team to do some work around their shelter. I know how to sing the whole Bob the Builder song now!

Weekend Fun

This weekend was pretty cold in DC so I didn't last too long outside. I went into my toy box and found some toys of my Mommy's. This is called an Etch-E-Sketch. I am getting pretty good at it!



I also watched some TV - my favorite is Little Einstein's Airplane movie and Jungle Book - the monkeys are my favorite part. I watch them over and over.

XBOX

OF COURSE Daddy and I found some time to play some XBOX. I am getting better and better. I think my favorite is baseball and the racing game.

Hilloween

Halloween in my neighborhood is called "Hilloween." Wow is it fun. There were kids like me everywhere dressed up in their costumes. This house was my favorite - it had music, lights, and lots of scary creatures. I wasn't scared though - I waited in line to get my candy!


Then we went to Eastern Market where there were horse driven hay rides. Here mommy and I are getting a ride with all the other kids.

I went Trick or Treating at my friend Max's House aka "Red Baron" he really liked the sound my candy wrappers made and my frog eyes! This was his first Halloween so I was filling him in on how great this day is because you get to dress up and get candy!
I went to my nieghbor Bonnie's house and she gave me lots of goodies. I was her first trick or treater! I love her kitty cat - MEOW!

So did you figure it out, ribbit! I hopped my way down the street saying Trick or Treat and got lots of candy! Yummy, did you know that my favorite is M&M's?
